Behind The Story in it’s original iteration was a Canadian broadcast TV show with a weekly viewership of approximately 80,000 homes. In a round table format, host Richard Landau would dissect the goings on in the news and media with his guests allowing for a critical and thoughtful analysis on what dominated the headlines.
Over the past few years since the program left the airwaves we’ve seen the media and public discourse become increasingly vitriolic, abrasive and biased with nobody willing to offer a critical and unbiased view of what’s really at the root of these debates. As a result… we’re back to offer a unique and refreshing take that helps our audience understand and form critical opinions of what is occurring in our media landscape in 30-60 minute episodes via audio and video.

Original Producer and news gatherer Tom Battaglia (Tom Anthony) has retired and I’m still in touch with him as well as original Associate Producer and Guest Coordinator Cyndi Volpe. Our current team is expanding to include a spate of fresh new talent with heaps of experience in new and traditional media.
Instead of three guests each week, we will have one or two. Also, the new media will allow us to really probe a topic completely. And, of course, Behind the Story media will always provide you with a fresh and thought-provoking perspective free of political correctness.
